Recent Training Completed
March 2004
Recently
six firefighters completed Emergency Responder training
at the Delano Fire Co. Seated from left to right are Timothy
Steward Jr (Safety/Training Officer), Samantha Ruch (Lieutenant),
John Frye (Captain). Standing from left are Scott Derr
(Asst. Chief), Bob Shirey (Instructor), Paul Kuropatsky
(Fire Chief), and John Wolfgang (Chief Engineer). Missing
from the photo is Dolly Shirey.
Along with the Emergency Responder training, Frye, Ruch,
and Wolfgang attended EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations)
classes. Wolfgang also attended IST and Hazmat R&I training
in November of 2003.
There are several in-house as well as State certified classes
scheduled for the upcoming summer, all classes are listed
in the Fire Chief's office.
